Our levers of influence

The ACM as an organisation

From the very beginning our internal culture has favoured the pursuit of excellence and exemplarity. From the Climate Fresco to everyday eco-actions, each and every one of us takes care to reduce our impact on the environment.

The ACM as an event

Our events attract thousands of spectators every year. The integration of ecoresponsible practices and the dissemination of key messages in favour of environmental protection, involving the drivers, reach a wide target.

The ACM as a local player

One of our key missions is to anchor and contribute to the development of Monaco. Our success is the result of synergies with players in the Principality, as well as with France and Italy.

The ACM as a race organiser

The events organized by the ACM are the fruit of collaboration with automobile promoters (F1, FE, WRC, etc.) and the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), which impose complex specifications that the ACM must respect.

The ACM as a promoter of new mobility solutions

At ACM, our role is to enable the development of tomorrow’s mobility innovations in order for them to be tested in real-life conditions during our events and made known to the general public.

MATERIALITY ANALYSIS

The materiality analysis is the result of a consultation launched in the 1st half of 2023 with a representative panel of internal and external stakeholders.

It identified priority issues for ACM, such as the fight against climate change, waste management, sustainable mobility and the safety of all stakeholders.

This analysis was the starting point of our sustainability analysis.

ALIGNMENT WITH EXISTING FRAMES OF REFERENCE

Our Contribution to the SDGs

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015. They are a global call to action to eradicate poverty, protect the Planet and ensure that all human beings live in peace and prosperity by 2030.

The 17 SDGs are integrated – recognizing that interventions in one area will affect outcomes in others, and that development must balance social, economic and environmental aspects.

At ACM, we want to contribute to the achievement of the following SDGs:

The National Pact for Energy Transition in Monaco

Launched in 2018, the National Pact is a Monegasque Government program that enables action on Monaco’s 3 major carbon themes: mobility, waste and energy.

By signing the National Pact, ACM commits to :

  • Drawing up a simplified GHG emissions report
  • Select key actions to be implemented in order to reduce environmental impact in the following areas :
    • Mobility,
    • Waste,
    • Energy,
    • Multi-impacts.
